ASSEMBLED HOUSING

This housing is a complex assembly of 5 different subassemblies. After assembly the parts are precision bored to obtain runout along the centerline of all 5 parts. The difficulty in this part is aligning off a non-prismatic and cast surface. Modern probing techniques have greatly reduced misalignment errors in production.
